Happy pride month! Please don’t make intersex merch marketed as “pride merch” or refer to the community as “QIA+.” Being intersex is a medical condition and does not inherently have anything to do with our gender identity or attraction. By comparing intersex people to LGBT people, you are comparing a disordered condition to an identity which is exactly what LGBT used to be seen as by outsiders.
