the amount of people in the notes of that post about masturbation in prison who are arguing masturbation isn’t a human right is just so fucking stupid because it shows how little critical thinking y’all are capable of. bodily autonomy is a human right, the ability for a government to restrict bodily autonomy is a human rights issue. this includes sex, even if it makes you uncomfortable
and yes, there’s a difference between saying adults are entitled to have sex and “x person is entitled to sex with (insert other person) specifically”. just because some acts are properly regulated (minor laws, consent laws) does not mean any and all regulation is acceptable and not a human rights concern.
